An architecture student is proposing we stop the growing saraha desert by tossing in some bacteriums that turn sand into solid sandstone, essentially creating a 6,000km wall to block the sand from encroaching on liveable areas. Sounds totally awesome and sci-fi esque. But what happens when the bacteriums break out of the wall, turn Africa into on giant piece of fused rock and then comes for our children?
