Our Mongolian Teacher
Little discreet photo of our Mongolian teacher, Natsagdorj. This guy is a riot, I wish you could all meet him. He’s one of only three Mongolian language teachers in the country with a doctorate in his field, he’s written something like 30 books on Mongolian language as well. Pretty intimidating hey? That’s what we though, well at least until he pulled out his little mimes to help us learn Mongolian words. Our 63 year old teacher does great tiger, sumo wrestler, calculator (!!), dog, eating, too hot, spicy, and cold impressions… it’s unbelievable. It helps to have some fun when he nails us with massive lists of incomprehensible words and phrases…
Oh, and he also comes to class on sunny days with a flower pattern umbrella (pictured) which he uses in without shame.
