Current Projects: I’ve just ordered books for our next two schools. The first batch of books are textbooks for 9-11th grade students in Altai City. These students are trying to prepare for exams that will help them continue onto higher education, however, their school doesn’t have any textbooks for them to use to study for their tests. Some kids are walking miles back and forth between their school and the town library looking for textbooks (which doesn’t have any books either). We’re sending a bunch of books to specifically target this need. The second school is in Tarialan Soum, a very small town (see image) in northwest Mongolia. Tarialan is 700 miles from Ulaanbaatar, where we print our books. There are no paved roads. We’re sending a mix of school books and reading books to start a small library in this secluded area. Thanks everyone for your support, this is what it’s all about.

Update: It’s actually 920 miles from UB, not 700. ha!
